Mattew is a COLPM Fellow and the moderator for this Futures Forum session. As the National Innovation Leader, Matthew is a member of Senior Leadership Team at McCarthy Tetrault and a partner in the Technology Group. He is responsible for the firm’s market strategy, pricing and leads the firm’s initiatives around innovation, new lines of business, client service delivery and client satisfaction. He spearheads the firm’s technology and processes that bring law firms and the provision of legal services into the future, including optimizing service deliverability, creating transparency and predictability in fees and leveraging new forms of technology to facilitate those services. A partner in the Technology Group where he leads market changing commercial deals for some of our most strategic clients. Celebrated as a Change Agent in Law by the 2019 Lexpert Zenith Awards and recognized in the Business category for being a driver of change in the firm and legal industry by the Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers in 2019. A speaker and presenter at various programs and conferences on sharing ideas with the global legal community, presenting on an array of topics like the future of the legal profession, re-engineering legal services and technology in the legal industry.
